After having no Smart Matches show up for one branch of my ancestor tree (last name McCabe), I tried the search engine for Family Websites found through the Community tab. Hundreds of websites named McCabe appeared, but I need a strategy for sorting through them. Is there a way to tell the size of the site and if they are Premium members (like the crown icons in Smart Matches)? Most of the sites are at least Mixed with security settings, so I cannot access any information to see if they will be useful. The date created is shown, but that is of little use other than indicating which sites are too new to have much research.
If you could go back in time and ask your ancestors questions, what would you want to know about them? You can be as specific as you want in regards to particular ancestors or if you'd ask all your ancestors the same general questions.
I, for example, would ask one of my great-great-great grandmothers what it was like to be convicted as a witch and how did she end up breaking out of prison and disappearing. Or my great-grandfather why he left Germany? And I'd most definitely ask all of my ancestors what they were passionate about.
Hello guys. I have always wanted to know the name of my great-great grandmother. I was told she was part indian from Dequincy, Lousiana. My grandmother was name Bessie Mae Robertson and she was born Sept. 5, 1914 or 1915. She died when I was 16 years old (1996). If anyone can find my grandmother's info, please reply back.
If so, can you tell me if Robertson was your grandmother's married name or her birth name? Did she die in Louisiana? What was the name of your grandmother's husband? This information would help me find her parents if you are still searching for this information.

2 buttons would be a great assistance to processing SmartMatches
Button 1. A button to confirm all matches on the current page only.
Button 2. A button to reject all entries on teh current page only. This would begreat as it takes 100 buttonclicks to reject 50 entries on a page. I have 4500 smartmatches between a tree of mine and someone else and a quick lokk tells me that the last 30 odd pages will be rejects. That could be 1500 rejects with 3000 button clicks.
