My Great-Grandfather Julius Friedrich Jachmann (Jackmann), b:1882 d:about 1930, from Szepes Bela, was married with his 1st SpouseBerta(exactly?) Kraus (sz/ ß/ ss), who died in 1920 and she was born in Bela. Berta had 2 sisters (Anna and an unknown sister)
His 2nd spouse Susanna (Szuszanna) Kraus (sz/ ß/ ss), came from Malthern (german) aka Maldur (hungarian) or Podhorany (slovak) district Kaesmark, was the cousin of Berta. Their marriage date: between 1921 - 1930. Both were living in Bela after their marriage.
The ancestors' names of Berta and Anna are Roth (last name). One of them had a pub ("Rothscher Schank") in Spisska Bela/ Szepes Bela/ Zipser Bela.
Other names in my tree: Telcz(Teltsch)/ Hofman/ Schmeisz/ Sutoris/ Reisz/ Pudleiner etc.
Hi Looking for help finding my Grand Father Joseph Kolesar (Koleszar, Kolleszar) Baptismal records. He was born in 1885 ( /- 1yr) in a village called Stroc'in in the Šariš region. Since I do not know his faith (I thing Roman, Catholic) I do not know what Parish records to search.
What also complicates this issue is he married a Anna Marko (a Rusyn) Date Un-known who possibly was Russian Orth.
Does any one have a idea or what churches of a specific faith would be available in that area for my to start searching?
My grandfather came from a large family involving (2) marriages, possily 10 sibblings.
