He was married to Barendina Rijkse in Haarlem on April 15,1903. (Huweliksvoltrekking 6 Mei) He immigrated to South Africa and she followed shortly after. The address on the marriage invitation is Witte Heerenstraat 28, Haarlem, and below that Huis Dennehoek, Bloemendaal. I have a photograph of his parents, but his father died when he was very young. I do not know if he had any brothers or sisters.
